There are so many influential people around us, people who know how to speak eloquently and convince others to follow their advice. Some of those people are very wise and help others to live a better life, but others simply use their fame to gain something for themselves. The sad part is that many, especially young people, have no filter and take everything that they find on the Internet as hard proof of something. They believe everything about the war that is going on in eastern Europe, about the pandemic, about other political issues, and about almost everything else. We all need to have distance from all the things we read or watch on TV. However, there is only one most influential person whom we can be certain that loves us, cares about us, and shares only the truth with us -- Jesus Christ. He tells us today that instead of listening and following other people, we should seek the truth only in His teaching. “That generation at the preaching of Jonah repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.” Jesus is the greatest one.
