“Jesus summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” Jesus gave us this power also. Yes, you and me. Do you use the power that you have? Wait a second -- What power? you may ask. I can’t drive out demons nor cure the sick. If I could, I would be rich and famous. So, what power? Well, as Christians, followers of Christ, we were given the power to proclaim the Kingdom of God through our good example of how we live, also through our prayers, and through our love and service to others. This is that special power that you and I have, to bring to this world and to spread the news about the Kingdom of God. And some will accept it, some will not, but our mission is to show to this world what Christianity is all about.
