Don’t you wonder sometimes about how is it possible that a certain bishop committed a terrible crime? Or why a certain priest did so much harm in his parish? Why some of those who were supposed to give others a great example of holiness, of humility and service to God, take advantage of the office that is entrusted to them? They not only use it for their own honor and fame, but even hurt others. How is it possible that God allows that? But God does allow that and is patiently waiting for His day of judgment. We all have time to repent and do penance, and this time is right here and now. But when the day of judgment comes, it will be too late, especially for those to whom more was given in this life. “Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.”
