Am I thankful? Thankful to my parents, to my children, to my spouse, to coworker, to a friend? Am I thankful to a nurse, a waiter in the restaurant or a clerk in the store? Most importantly, am I thankful to God? If more people would show that they were grateful to others and to God, this world would become a much better place. But sometimes we don’t even say thank you, because we believe that we deserve to be served, to be waited on, to be fed and clothed. How many times in our prayers we ask or even demand things from Our God, but we forget to thank Him for all the blessings we have received? Jesus wants us to show gratitude; he wants us to be thankful. “Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?”
