Very interesting that before Jesus restored vision to the poor blind man, he took him by the hand and led him outside the village. Why did He do that? Why not perform that miracle right there in the village? I think that Jesus simply wanted to teach us something by doing that. Jesus is teaching us that in order to be able to see more and better in our lives, we need to step out of the crowds, noises, and our tight schedules. Jesus wants us to take a moment, slow down, spend some quiet time with Him and listen to Him. Then we need to let Jesus take us by the hand and help us to see. What else can we do in order to improve our relationship with Him? “Then he sent him home and said, do not even go into the village.” We need to go out of the village.
