It amazes me how some people believe almost everything they read or watch on the internet. And you can find there almost everything - some things that are good and beneficial for us, but also many things that can deceive us. I remember talking with someone who tried to convince me that no lay person should be near the altar, that this sacred place is reserved only for the clergy. When I asked him why he is saying that, he said that he listens to a certain ‘preacher’ on YouTube who was dogmatically asserting this and many other things that we as a Catholic Church are doing wrong. I think it is OK to listen and watch things on the internet. However, we should be able to filter between what is true and good and what is wrong - not blindly believing in everything that someone (whom we don’t even know) is saying. It is like with those people in Jesus’ time who asked Him for a special sign. Jesus said that there will not be any more signs given. What they have in front of them is the Son of God, who gave them enough proof for them to believe. But they didn’t believe Him - they preferred to believe humans rather than God. “At the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.”
