Wednesday of the Fourteenth Week in Ordinary Time ‘b’

Of course, God could do everything on His own. He could have made all the people on this planet to believe in Him. He could make all in this world Christians. God could bring the Good News to every human being here without our help. He is God, He can do anything. But God wanted us to have a huge part in spreading the news about Him. He started our Church, and then left it to us. We are part of this Church, and we are now responsible for its growth. Just like those first chosen disciples. Jesus chose them by name. He even chose Judas, the one who didn’t do very well. In fact, he became a traitor. We all are sinners; we all make mistakes. However, on the day of our baptism God also called you by name and told you to take care of His Church.
