Wednesday of the Second Week of Easter ‘a’

I used to think that whenever I have done something wrong, whenever I sinned God will punish me for that. I was taught like that on my religious classes- if you sin, you make God angry, and He will punish you for your disobedience. However, when I grew older and deepened my faith and relationships with God, I begun to understand that our God never gets angry, and He does not punish us for our sins. Besides, I don’t want to have an angry god, I want to have loving and forgiving God. I realized that when I sin, I hurt Him, I make Him sad, but never angry. God loves us unconditionally. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.”
