“Such large crowds gathered around Jesus that he got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd stood along the shore. And he spoke to them at length in parables…” Does this remind you of something? It certainly reminds me of what is happening each time when we gather at Mass. Jesus feeds us not only with His Body, but also with His words of wisdom. He wants us to listen to Him and to follow His teachings. I remember when I was much younger, after coming home from church on Sunday, my mom would test me to see if I paid attention during the Mass. So, she would ask for, example: What was the first reading about, or what was the gospel reading about, or what did the priest talk about? Jesus always has something very important to tell us. Are you able to listen? Do you understand His message? Do you pay attention?
