We all believe in the healing power of Jesus. We read about those wonderful miracles that He performed and how He restored those who were ill back to full health. But that did not happen only over 2000 years ago; Jesus performs miracles even today. We read today that “at sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them.” When we are sick, we go to the doctor. Or if our loved one is sick, we also look for the assistance of a doctor, and we should do that. However, we can’t forget about the healing power of Jesus who can not only heal our bodies, but also our souls. It is our mission to bring the sick to Jesus. Not only those who are physically sick, but especially those who need healing of spirit -- those who are away from God, those who live in sin, those who have no hope. If we bring them to Jesus, He will perform another miracle; He will forgive and heal their wounds.
