Friday of the Twenty Fifth Week in Ordinary Time ‘c’

What would you say if Jesus asked you today the same question he asked His apostles: “Who do the crowds say that I am?” What would your answer be? Do you ever talk about Jesus with others, or do you try to avoid the ‘sensitive’ topic of religion? What do others that you know -- your family members, co-workers, friends -- say or think about Jesus? Do you even care? Perhaps some of them don’t believe at all, some may think that Jesus’ story is pure fiction, or that He was only an historical figure who died a long time ago. Maybe a few of them are strong believers and pray often and go to church daily to receive the Eucharist. Jesus is asking you today too: What do the people that you know say about me? Do you know? Do you care? Do you talk about your faith and about Jesus?
