How much time do you offer to Jesus? A simple question. The answer will vary and some of you would say -- an hour each day; some -- only on Sunday during Mass; and others would say that they call on the name of Jesus when they need Him. So, how about you? What would be your answer? I must admit that when I do my own examination of conscience, I too realize that I don’t offer enough time to God. I get too busy with other stuff, and at the end of the day I realized that all I gave to God was just my left-over time, my extra time. But God deserves all the best that I have, He should be present in every moment of my life. God should be in the center of my life. Just like for Mary, the sister of Lazarus. She used the best, most “costly perfumed oil made from genuine aromatic nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair.” In that simple gesture Mary teaches us that Jesus deserves from us all that is best. He should always be in the center of our life.
