Monday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time ‘c’

“Whom am I to judge?” Most of us remember those famous words of our pope Francis. I think we should remember those words and repeat them often, especially when we are tempted to judge, to criticize, and to gossip about others. Am I better than that person that I judged in my heart? Am I perfect, without sins and failures? Who am I to judge? Today we are asked to leave judgment to God, for only He knows what is in your heart, only He knows the reason why that certain person acts that way. Instead of judging or criticizing, just pray for others, ask God to forgive them their sins and mistakes, and then ask God to help you to see what is in you that needs to be healed, forgiven, and changed. “Jesus said to his disciples: Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged.”
