We need to care about each other. We can’t be selfish and think only about ourselves. In a similar way, we are called to bring others to the Gospel and to pray for their salvation too. So, if you know or see someone who has drifted away from the church, or is living a sinful immoral life, you should try to do everything in order to bring them back to God. However, we need to be very careful and not to show that we are better than the other person, nor humiliate anyone. But we should gently work with them with a true love and concern for that person. Jesus doesn’t want us to gossip, to think badly about another person, nor to make a public show – look, here he is, that sinner. No. Jesus wants us to bring him back to Him because we love them, and we care about their salvation. I like that passage from the Gospel reading today when the disciple is anxious to know who would betray Jesus and what would happen to him. Jesus simply says: “What concern is it of yours? You follow me.” Pray, love and care for one another. However, don’t get into any kind of gossip or making a scene. Simply follow and love.
