It’s that simple -- only the one who does the will of God will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Not those who only say with their lips that Jesus is their Lord but do not follow His teachings. There are among us some Christians that simply think that because they are baptized, and pray, and go to church, and try to live good lives will go to Heaven. But is that enough? Jesus wants more from His disciples. He wants us not only to proclaim that He is our God and Savior, but to fulfill His will in our lives. What is His will? Love God and love neighbor, feed the hungry, love your enemies, be merciful just like God is merciful, be forgiving, pray for those who wish you evil, be a peacemaker, and help those in need. “Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.”
