Thursday of the Twenty Fifth Week in Ordinary Time ‘a’


Who then is this about whom I hear such things? And he kept trying to see him.” Certainly, Jesus was a person that attracted many followers. He had that extraordinary power of curing the sick, bringing back the dead to life, and casting out demons. He also preached like nobody before. However, many missed the point -- instead of believing in the Son of God, they were looking for the sensational. Jesus is present today in our midst, and some of us come to Him because we believe that He is the Son of God and that through Him we will be saved. Yet some come for different reasons. There are some that believe in His existence, but don’t believe that He truly is the Son of God. Why do you want to see Jesus? What do you expect of Him?
