Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Easter

When some people asked Jesus to tell them plainly if He truly was the Christ, Jesus replied that He already told them, but they still didn’t believe. Then He said: “The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me.” Jesus didn’t do anything wrong; He performed only good deeds. That’s how others should know and believe that He came from God. But today we should ask ourselves what kind of testimony we give to others by our work, by our deeds. Looking at us, at our way of living and our deeds, would others be able to tell that we too belong to God? We are called to continue Christ’s mission here on earth. That’s why we make sure that the works we do is the work that Jesus wants us to do.
