“Let us cross to the other side.” Jesus is concerned not only about the people that He knows but all of the other people. He wants everyone to know about Him and to be saved. Let’s cross to the other side -- let’s go to others, let us invite others. I didn’t come only to you but to everybody. Am I concerned about the salvation of other people? As the pandemic eases, many of our parishioners haven’t returned to church -- have you ever wonder where they are, why they are not here? Are they well? ‘Let us cross to the other side’ with Jesus; it may be risky just like it was for the disciples on that stormy sea, but this is our task, more than a task or vocation -- to invite others to follow Jesus and to be concerned about other people’s salvation too.
