Students go to school to learn about all kind of things. We all went to school to learn and to have an expertise about something we enjoyed. But education takes a long time. Nobody becomes a doctor, or a teacher, or a lawyer, not even a priest overnight. No, education takes time. And it takes time because there is so much material to learn and to remember. Even Jesus knows this, and that’s why He tells His disciples today that “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.” We have to accept that we have our limits and that it takes time to learn, to understand, and even to believe. Just be patient and trust in Jesus, He knows exactly how much we can bear at one time.
