Most of you make tremendous sacrifices for those that you love. Perhaps you work two jobs to provide for your family and your children. Maybe you gave up your dreams, because you needed to take care of your elderly sick parent. This is how we express love, not by words only, but by our sacrifices and our action. Today is the Feast Day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the symbol of love, of freedom but also a symbol of a sacrifice -- a tremendous sacrifice of God who loves His people. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” Look at the cross today and thank God for His unconditional love towards you.
