Many of us limit the presence of Christ only to certain times and places. For example, there are some of us who come to Mass regularly and say our prayers at the designated times, but we keep forgetting that Jesus wants to come with us wherever we go and whatever we do. He can’t be just some part of our lives; He wants to be your life. We come to Mass, listen to His word, pray to Him, receive His body in the Eucharist, and then we go out forgetting to bring Him with us into our homes, schools, places of work, and to our family and friends. Today Jesus is addressing you with the same words that he said to Zacchaeus: “come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.” God wants to come to you and change your life, just like He changed the life of a sinner Zacchaeus.
