“Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” A royal official and his household came to believe because Jesus healed his son. Remember Doubting Thomas -- unless I touch His wounds, I will not believe that He is risen. Many others start believing that Jesus is the Son of God because they were able to witness extraordinary signs and miracles. Jesus is still giving us many signs. Maybe not to each one of us, and some of us simply won’t see them when they occur. We all may be looking for a sign, for a proof that whatever we have learned about Jesus is the truth. However, instead of hoping for a sign, we should ask Jesus to increase our faith and to make us believe even if no sign will be given us. “Blessed are those who didn’t see but believed.”
