Monday of the First Week of Lent ’b’

You know what amazes me? I think I mentioned it before. God came here to this earth over two thousand years ago in a human body. But even when he performed miracles or did things that no one else could have done - like bringing death to life, healing the sick, opening the eyes of the blind, and so many other actions - still many saw in Him only a human being and didn’t believe that He was God. And today, most can’t recognize God in another person. We would rather worship Him in gorgeous basilicas, golden tabernacles, and raise our eyes to heaven looking for Him, forgetting that He is still here around us and among us in the simple form of another person. “Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.” Our God has a divine nature, meaning that He is God and Human, He is Human and God, so we need to see Him above and below, here among us.
