On a certain day, as evening drew on, Jesus said to his disciples: “Let us cross to the other side.” Today, I learned that there are times when I will need to go out of my comfort zone and ‘go to the other side’. It may not be easy, and I may face many storms, but this is what Jesus wants me and you to do. But how? Where? Jesus wants us to continue His mission and bring Him ‘to the other side’- to those whom I don’t feel comfortable with, to those who may reject me. And we may not be able, nor even called, to proclaim the good news in the far countries of the world, but we need to leave our comfort zones and make sure we bring Jesus to our families, to our school, places of work, and to all that places where Jesus is not known and is rejected. “Let us cross to the other side.” “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”
