History reveals many heroes, people who did something extraordinary for a higher good cause. Some gave up their lives for another person, or for their country. There are heroes among us even today. A hero is someone who doesn’t think about him or herself only, but about others and is ready to sacrifice or even lose their life to help others. But there is only one Hero that gave up His life for all of us, for the whole human race, for all of us living today, for those who lived in past centuries, and for those who will live in the future. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave up His life to save us from sin and to give us a new life. “Caiaphas, said to them, you know nothing, nor do you consider that it is better for you that one man should die instead of the people, so that the whole nation may not perish.” He was so wrong… Jesus died for all of us that we could be saved.
