Mary, Mother of God, “she kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.” Are you able to observe, to listen, and to reflect? It seems like a simple thing, but I think that for many of us it is hard to stop for a moment and to reflect on the Word of God. In today’s busy world we talk more, we are very busy, always rushing somewhere, and we like to gossip. The Mother of God was able to reflect in her heart on all of those things happening to her. We need to learn from her, and when we read the bible, we need to think and reflect on what God is telling us. When we are in the church for mass, we also need to reflect on God’s message. God has always something important to tell us, but are you able to listen and reflect? Mary, Mother of God -- pray for us. Happy New Year!
