“All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds.” Those shepherds were filled with joy. They didn’t want to keep that news of the coming of the Messiah to themselves, they wanted to share with others and spread that joy everywhere. God came to us to give us freedom, forgiveness, and hope. He is coming to us each time when we celebrate Holy Mass and receive Him in the bread. Just like those shepherds, we must share that joy with others, those who can’t be here or who don’t want to be here. Christmas is not over yet. Christmas is happening each time when God comes to us during the Eucharist. He wants us to bring Him into this world.
