As Christians, we are called to enrich this world with goodness. We are called to testify to the truth, and by our good actions and exemplary lives to lead others to God, lead others to conversion. This is our call, that we may or may not fulfill due to our own limitations. But no matter what we do, there will still be those who won’t believe. We can only do so much. Even Jesus wasn’t able to convince all of His listeners that He is the one, the one that they had been long waiting for, the one that John the Baptist and the other prophets had announced, that He is the Son of God. He said: “The works that the Father gave me to accomplish, these works that I perform testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.” Our works should also testify that we are the children of God, and some may be convinced and join us, but some won’t.
