Wednesday of the Thirty Second Week in Ordinary Time ‘a’

Thanksgiving Day is almost here. A day when we are reminded to be thankful, first to God and then to others. Try to think about another person, about your spouse, parent, child, or a friend and ask yourself what you are most thankful to that person for. Too many times we get into arguments, gossip, and we wish for a better spouse, better child, a better parent. But there is so much that we should be thankful about and for them. And then think about your God and thank Him for all those people He gave you, for all the blessing that He bestowed upon you in your life. Often, we want more, we wish more and we ask for more, but then we forget to be thankful for what we already have. “Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?”
